? The Women's National Invitation Tournament Championship marks the fourth national title for Marquette University in school history. First since 1977.
? The is Marquette's first-ever national tournament title, ninth overall tournament championship.
? Marquette's win at Michigan State marked the first time a WNIT team had won three games on the road in the march to the title.
? Marquette ended the season with a season-best five-game win streak. Senior Svetlana Kovalenko ended her career playing in a school record 131 games and winning the last game of her career.
? Junior Krystal Ellis was named the WNIT's Most Valuable Player and freshman Angel Robinson was named to the all-tournament team.

? Ellis ended the tournament with 116 total points over five games. She recored a career high 11 assists to mark the second player this season to dish 10 or more helpers this season.
? Junior Kelly Lam joined her father Guy Lam as a NIT Champion. Guy Lam was a member of Marquette's 1970 NIT Championship team.
? Three other Golden Eagles scored in double figures; Robinson (16), Jocelyn Mellen (12) and Erin Monfre (15).
? Monfre finished with a season high five 3-pointers for 15 points, two assists and one block all without a turnover.
? Marquette ended Michigan State's 10-game WNIT home win streak.
? Marquette's 45 first half points matched a season-high total. The Golden Eagles scored 45 points in the first half at Colorado.
? Marquette trailed for the first and only time of the game, 7-6, with 16:53 left to play in the first half, but went on a 26-4 run to go ahead 32-11 with 8:17 left in the first. It was the second 25-plus point run for the second consecutive game.
