Milwaukee - Marquette University men's basketball freshman Jeronne Maymon has decided to leave the program, effective immediately, head coach Buzz Williams announced Monday evening.
"We want to thank Jeronne for his contributions to the program while he was here and wish him the best of luck in the future," Williams said.
Maymon, a two-time state player of the year at Madison Memorial High School, appeared in nine games off the bench for Marquette in 2009-10. He averaged 4.0 points and 4.2 rebounds per game while shooting 48.1 percent from the floor and 55.6 percent from the free throw line.
