3rd Annual Fan Fest Set for Sunday, Aug. 16

MILWAUKEE - Marquette men's and women's soccer teams will kickoff the 2009 season with the 3rd annual Fan Fest on Sunday, Aug. 16 at Valley Fields (1818 W. Canal St.). This FREE event will feature interactive skill stations, player autographs and photo opportunities, and food courtesy of Qdoba.

Gates open at 2:30 p.m. As part of the festivities, both teams will participate in intra-squad scrimmages, with the women's soccer scrimmage beginning at 3 p.m., followed by the men's Blue vs. Gold scrimmage at 5 p.m.

Players and coaches from the men's and women's soccer teams will be available throughout the event to keep score at each station, sign autographs, take pictures, and discuss the upcoming season.
