Match Against Providence Rescheduled For Oct. 22

MILWAUKEE - The BIG EAST Conference men's soccer match between No. 8 Marquette University and Providence College has been rescheduled for Oct. 22 at Valley Fields.

Kickoff is set for 7:05 p.m. Central time in Milwaukee. This is a make-up game after the originally scheduled league opener between the two schools on Sept. 27 was postponed due to travel issues for the Friars.

The Golden Eagles' next contest is slated for this Saturday, Oct. 11 when the squad hosts conference foe St. John's. This weekend also marks a celebration of 50th years of men's soccer at Marquette. In addition to a banquet Friday evening, former players and coaches will be recognized Saturday during halftime.
