MILWAUKEE--For the 19th time in program history, the Marquette University women's soccer team has been recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America as an NSCAA Team Academic Award winner.
Under the guidance of head coach Markus Roeders, the women's soccer program boasted a 3.34 grade point average for the 2013-14 academic year. In all 19 seasons at the helm of Marquette women's soccer Roeders has led his teams to an NSCAA Team Academic honor.
The NSCAA Team Academic Award recognizes programs with a composite grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for all team members.
