Saturday's BIG EAST Men's Soccer Opener Postponed

MILWAUKEE -- Due to travel issues, Saturday's BIG EAST Conference men's soccer opener between No. 13 Marquette University and Providence College has been postponed. No makeup date has been announced.
The Friars, who were scheduled to make their first trip to Valley Fields since the 2010 season, were unable to get into Milwaukee after more than a thousand flights were cancelled across the Midwest due to a fire at a FAA facility near Chicago.
As it stands, Marquette's next scheduled game will be against the in-state rival Wisconsin Badgers at Valley Fields this Wednesday, Oct. 1.
