
Chi Alpha Sigma Collects Over 1300 Box Tops to Donate

MILWAUKEE--Marquette's chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma, the national student-athlete honor society, collected over 1,300 Box Tops for Education throughout the spring semester. On Tuesday, April 21, Marquette student- athletes presented the donation to the School for Early Development and Achievement (SEDA).
The Box Tops will allow SEDA to afford materials like cones, balls, color scarves, and jump ropes to incorporate more active learning and advanced courses into its curriculum.
The student-athletes that presented the Box Tops were Maggie Edlebeck, women's soccer, Tatyana Pashibin, women's track, Nicole Ethier, women's track and cross country, Jordan Smith, men's track, Michael Clemente, men's lacrosse and Haley Loprieno, women's track and cross country.
The donation to SEDA, located right on the edge of Marquette's campus on 20th and Wells, will help children ages kindergarten through second grade. Most of the children that are enrolled at the school are developmentally delayed or have special needs.
