The Marquette University men's tennis team (2-1) dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 53 Indiana (2-2) Saturday night in non-conference action in Bloomington, Ind.
The Golden Eagles, who will cap a three-match weekend Sunday morning against VCU at the IU Tennis Center, dropped its first dual match of the campaign with the loss to the Hoosiers.
Indiana opened the match by claiming the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 and was able to earn victories in three of the singles matchups to secure the team victory, including a three-set contest at the No. 5 spot. The remaining singles contests were unfinished.
