
Marquette Falters, 4-3 Against Cincinnati

ORLANDO, Fla.--The Marquette women's tennis team had a three-match winning streak snapped on Wednesday afternoon as the squad dropped a 4-3 decision to Cincinnati in Orlando, Florida.
The Golden Eagles got on the board first, winning the doubles point as Erin Gebes and Silvia Ambrosio earned a 6-2 win on court one, followed by Diana Tokar and Paula Tormos Sanchez earning a 6-4 victory on the No. 2 court.
Both Ambrosio and Gebes, fought back in singles play after dropping their first sets on the No. 1 and No. 2 courts, respectively, which added points for Marquette. Ambrosio pulled out a 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 win, while Gebes claimed a 3-6, 6-1, 7-5 victory.
MU will continue to enjoy sunny Florida and will travel to Boca Raton, Florida to compete at Florida Atlantic on Saturday, March 26 at Noon Central time.
