Howard and MBB set new 3-point records
Markus Howard broke his own program record with 11 triples and the Golden Eagles set a new team standard with 18 in the win over Chicago state. Howard previously shared the MU record for 3-pointers in a single game with Mark Anglavar and MU's previous team best was 15. Howard hit 11-of-15 shots from deep for 33 points on the evening and was joined by backcourt-mate Andrew Rowsey, who poured in five of his six 3-pointers in the opening half.
Marquette now has three different players who have scored at least 30 points in their last three contests. In addition to Howard's 33 on Wednesday, sophomore Sam Hauser scored 30 in Monday's overtime win against Eastern Illinois, while Rowsey scored 30 in MU's final game at the Maui Invitation against LSU.
So yeah, @markushoward11 had a night. An 11 3-pointers kind of night. That's an #mubb record. No big deal. #SCTop10 pic.twitter.com/bYiQct9k1G

Men's basketball hosts Georgia on Saturday
The men's basketball team will welcome Georgia to the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 1 p.m., in a game broadcast on CBS Sports Network. This will be the third game of MU's current four-game homestand, which they wrap up against Vermont on Dec. 5.
Marquette is partnering with the Kids 2 Kids Christmas Toy Drive for the next two home games. Please bring in a new or gently used, unwrapped toy to either of these games. The toys will be collected at all four entrances of the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
Volleyball in seventh NCAA Championship
The women's volleyball team earned a berth in its seventh consecutive NCAA tournament berth and will face in-state rival Wisconsin (20-9) on Friday in Ames, Iowa at 4 p.m. If Marquette (22-9) were to win, it would play the winner of Iowa state and Princeton at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The Golden Eagles fell to Creighton in a five-set BIG EAST Conference championship match on Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend at the Al McGuire Center.

WBB sets new victory margin against Loyola
The women's basketball team rolled passed Loyola Chicago on Tuesday, beating the Ramblers by 62 points. The 62-point win on Tuesday marked a program record for largest margin of victory as the Golden Eagles surpassed the previous record of 56 points in a victory over Ball State, 97-41, back on Dec. 21, 1993.

Since the inception in the mid-1990's, the Blue & Gold Fund has provided over $52 million in scholarship support to Marquette student-athletes. Currently, Marquette funds the equivalent of 96 full-tuition scholarships on an annual basis through revenues generated by annual giving and proceeds from athletic endowed scholarships. The NCAA permits Marquette to offer the equivalent of 136 full athletic scholarships and we have not yet reached our potential to maximize our aid to our student-athletes.
