Both Golden Eagle squads are looking to improve from last year's placements with the men tying their best-ever finish in fifth and women placing their highest since 2005 in fourth.
The men's side returns Jon Klaiber, who has been the team's top finisher in three of four races this season and second to Daniel Pederson at Bradley on Oct. 12.
Pederson finished eighth overall at last year's BIG EAST Championship meet hosted by Marquette to earn All-BIG EAST accolades. It was the men's highest finisher and only top-10 placement since Marquette joined the BIG EAST Conference in 2005. Another one to watch for is Ryan Burd, who has claimed four straight top-three finishes for the Golden Eagles.
The women's side returns senior Mary Hanson, who has been the team's top finisher in each of her four races this season. Hanson is joined by sophomore Caitlin McGauley, freshman Emma Moravec, and freshman Kendall Pfrimmer who all hold four top-seven finishes for the Golden Eagles.
The Georgetown men's team will be taking aim at a fourth-straight crown, while the Villanova women will be looking to grab a second-consecutive title.
