
Marquette Takes Down Seton Hall, 81-54

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J.--Allazia Blockton's 21 points led four in double digits as the Marquette women's basketball team downed Seton Hall, 81-54 on Friday night at Walsh Gymnasium.
Behind Blockton's leading tally, Natisha Hiedeman added 18 points, while Amani Wilborn totaled 11 points along with Erika Davenport who added a career-high-tying 17 rebounds for her eighth double-double of the season.
The Golden Eagles trailed for just 14 seconds in the opening minute of the first quarter and its 27-point margin of victory was also the largest lead of the game as the team shot 50.7 percent from the floor (34-67). MU took 50 points in the paint and 28 points from 21 Seton Hall miscues.
Marquette has one final regular season game remaining and will take on St. John's Sunday, Feb. 25 with the chance to take at least a share of the BIG EAST regular season title, which would be the first BIG EAST regular season title and just fourth conference regular season crown overall. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. CT and will air on the BIG EAST Digital Network.
