Â
The honor squad is comprised of teams with a cumulative minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2017-18 academic year. This marks the fifth-straight season under head coach Meredith Black that the Golden Eagles have earned the prestigious honor after compiling a 3.42 team GPA.
Â
Individually, this year marked the most-ever selections for Marquette as Dobratz, Dolan, Gabriel and Simonides all made the list. To be eligible, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student and possess a 3.50 GPA or higher.
Â
Marquette's previous high of three honor roll recipients occurred in 2016 when Lauren Hooker, Molly O'Brien and Sarah Priem were honored.
Â
The Golden Eagles finished the 2018 season with a program-record 10 victories and qualified for the BIG EAST tournament semifinals for the first time. The team begins fall workouts in September.
