Marquette Athletics Announces Staff Promotions

Five individuals earn recognition for service to the University
The Marquette University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced the promotion of five staff members, Vice President and Director of Athletics Bill Scholl announced Wednesday afternoon.

Sarah Bobert, Danielle Josetti and Adrienne Ridgeway have each been named Executive Associate Athletic Director. Aaron Baker and Scott Kuykendall have been promoted to Senior Associate Athletic Director.

"Our entire staff does a tremendous job creating an environment for our student-athletes to be successful, both in and out of competition," Scholl said. "Over the course of the last 18 months, Sarah, Danielle, Adrienne, Aaron and Scott have taken on a significant amount of responsibility and handled the increased workload flawlessly. We are extremely appreciative of their efforts and all they do for the University."

As a group, the individuals being recognized have nearly 80 combined years of service at Marquette University, in addition to decades more at other collegiate institutions.

Bobert, who also serves as the department's Senior Woman Administrator, is in her 19th year on the Marquette athletics staff and oversees the student-athlete welfare and experience functions within the department. In her position, Bobert's duties include oversight of the sports performance and sports medicine areas. Additionally, she serves as sport administrator for women's basketball, women's soccer and the tennis programs.Â

Danielle Josetti is in her 16th year at Marquette and oversees the office of athletic compliance, as well as the department's marketing and ticketing areas. She is the sport administrator for the volleyball and men's lacrosse teams. The compliance department works with student-athletes, coaches, administrators and others to educate and facilitate a culture of compliance and integrity for Marquette Athletics.

Ridgeway is in her 15th year and is responsible for providing the strategic vision for the academic and student programs staff, which works with the group of over 300 student-athletes. Â She serves as the primary academic liaison to campus and works specifically with the men's basketball team and women's and men's tennis teams. In addition to her academic responsibilities, Ridgeway serves at the sport administrator to the men's and women's cross country and track teams.

Baker enters his 16th year at Marquette and directly oversees event and facilities operations for the department and serves as the direct contact for men's basketball game management. Baker manages all department capital projects, directing $36 million in improvement projects for Marquette Athletics since 2013.

Kuykendall is in his 12th season at Marquette and oversees the publicity efforts for each of the athletic department's 16 NCAA Division I programs, while serving as the primary contact for the men's basketball and men's tennis teams. His work with the men's basketball team has included six trips to the NCAA Tournament (two Sweet 16's and one Elite Eight). He is also a member of the NCAA Final Four Media Coordination Committee.
