Marquette lacrosse adds 16 freshmen for 2018

Sixteen freshmen join Andrew Romagnoli and John Hulsman as newcomers in 2018-19
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University men's lacrosse team has announced the addition of 16 freshmen for the 2017-18 academic year, including six players who arrived on campus in July.
The group includes student-athletes from eight different U.S. states, as well as Alberta, and features four players California, three from Minnesota and a pair each from Michigan and Wisconsin.
In all, the class includes four long pole players, one goalie, nine midfielders/attackmen and two face-off specialists.
Marquette already announced the addition a pair of transfers for the upcoming season in attackman Andrew Romagnoli (Delaware) and goalie John Hulsman (Bellarmine).
The Golden Eagles must replace one starter from a 2018 squad that went 6-8 and fell to then-No. 3 Denver in the 2018 BIG EAST Conference Men's Lacrosse Championship.
