MU's mascot worked hard this summer
Dear Marquette Fans,
Hope you had a great break. I don't know about you, but I decided not to fly away this summer and spent the past few months right here in beautiful Milwaukee. I took some time to relax but also found I was able to stay quite productive!
As always, I kept up with my sports, making sure to stay in shape and work on my skills. This summer I really took it to the next level and I think you'll find I'm looking a lot slimmer. I ate my vegetables so I grew a few inches taller and trimmed my wing feathers a little bit to keep cool. I also found out that I like a variety of sports and love my new outfits for soccer, volleyball, and lacrosse.
My favorite part is my hands though; who knew having ten fingers would help my jump shot so much?!
I'm excited that everyone's coming back to school and if you see me around campus make sure to give me a high five or get in a photo! See you soon and remember WE ARE MARQUETTE.
