Women's basketball program added to Jordan roster
The Marquette University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has signed a five-year extension with Jordan Brand, Vice President & Director of Athletics Bill Scholl announced Monday morning.

Adding to the men's basketball program, the new partnership agreement is highlighted by the addition of the women's basketball program to the Jordan Brand family. The men's team has been partnered with the industry leader since 2009-10 and now both teams will feature the Jordan Brand logo on its uniform beginning in 2018-19.Â

"It's gratifying to know that our relationship with one of the great brands in the world will continue. Being able to wear the Jordan brand means many things. It allows us to provide the absolute best equipment and apparel possible to our student-athletes. It's also a significant differentiator when it comes to recruiting elite student-athletes to Marquette. We are even more enthusiastic this year about our partnership as we add the Jordan Brand to our women's basketball program."
Â
Head Men's Basketball Coach Steve Wojciechowski
"Our partnership with Jordan Brand is not only extremely important to our program, but also to the supporters of our team. The extension of our relationship is another unique way Marquette is able to enhance its status as one of the elite programs in the nation."
Â
Head Women's Basketball Coach Carolyn Kieger
"When it comes to the game of basketball, the Jumpman logo is the most recognized symbol in our sport. Â Our entire program is ecstatic to wear and support the iconic brand that has helped shape our game for so many years. Â Our players are extremely thankful for the opportunity to play in the brand they love. We are blessed to be a small part of such a premier organization."
