First serve Friday and Saturday set for 12 p.m. CT
The Marquette University men's tennis team (0-1) opens the home portion of its 2018-19 campaign this weekend with a pair of non-conference matchups at Helfaer Tennis Stadium.
The Golden Eagles will welcome Georgetown for a first serve at 12 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25 before hosting UIC on Saturday at 12 p.m. CT. Marquette finished undefeated at home in 2017-18 and is in possession of a 11-match winning streak on campus.
MU dropped its season opener at Iowa last weekend and is looking for its first win of the young season.
"We did some good things at Iowa, but weren't able to put enough pressure on them after dropping the doubles point," head coach Steve Rodecap said. "We are looking forward to getting off to a better start and playing from in front this weekend."
