The Golden Eagles open the regular season on Tuesday at Fiserv Forum
MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University men's basketball team cruised to an 88-51 victory over St. Norbert on Tuesday evening at Fiserv Forum in its lone exhibition contest.
Sophomore Brendan Bailey led four Golden Eagles in double digits with 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the floor along with four blocks. Redshirt junior Koby McEwen notched 14 points, seven assists and six rebounds in his first action in Blue & Gold, while Ed Morrow posted a near double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds.
The Green Knights, who played their second exhibition contest in as many nights, played 16 players and were led in scoring by Jared Murphy's nine points.
The Golden Eagles shot 56.9 percent (33-of-58) from the floor for the game and were 11-of-24 (45.8 percent) from 3-point range. SNC shot just 32.8 percent from the field and 17.4 percent from deep.
Marquette begins the 2019-20 regular season on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at Fiserv Forum against Loyola Maryland in a 7 p.m. Central time tip on FOX College Sports.
