MLAX hosts Johns Hopkins for final scrimmage

Admission is free but building capacity is limited to 500
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University men's lacrosse team is set to scrimmage John's Hopkins University on Saturday, Feb. 2 in Milwaukee at noon Central time at Valley Fields.
Admission is free and open to the public, with the dome capacity at Valley Fields limited to 500 people. The meeting between the two teams will begin with a practice session before the scrimmage starts at 12:30 p.m.
Following the scrimmage, Marquette will host a clinic for children from Camp One Step in the Valley Fields dome. Camp One Step by Children's Oncology Services is a leader in providing empowering, supportive, educational and fun experiences for children (5-19) who have been diagnosed with cancer. This will mark the second consecutive preseason that Marquette and Johns Hopkins have met. The seventh-ranked Blue Jays posted a 12-5 record during the 2018 season.
The Golden Eagles are coming off two prior exhibition matches this season at Maryland and Utah.
Marquette begins regular season action starting Saturday, Feb. 9 at 11 a.m. Central time against Bellarmine University at Valley Fields.
