Greg Anderson picks up singles win
The Marquette University men's tennis team (5-5) dropped a 6-1 non-conference decision at Utah Saturday afternoon in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Golden Eagles, who are in the midst of a four-match road swing, will wrap up the trip versus Montana on Sunday, Feb. 24. Opening serve is set for 12 p.m.
Utah opened the match by claiming the doubles point, courtesy of wins at No. 2 and 3. Only senior Greg Anderson was able to earn a singles win, downing Mathias Gavelin 7-6, 4-6, 1-0 at No. 5.
