
Nine head to North Central's Gregory Invitational

The Golden Eagles will compete at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois
MILWAUKEE – Nine Marquette University track and field student-athletes will compete this week at North Central College's Gregory Invitational on Wednesday, May 15 and Thursday, May 16 in Naperville, Illinois.
BIG EAST Conference 110-meter hurdle champion Ben Konopka will take one final shot at Cameron Harvey's program record time of 14.38 seconds during his rookie season. Konopka set a new personal best in the event of 14.48 seconds at the Drake Relays on April 24, a mark which sits as Marquette's freshman record. He will also compete in the 100-meter dash on Thursday.
Ross Bravo is set to join Konopka in the 110 hurdles and will also run the 200.
Distance runners Stephen Poorten, Jon Klaiber and August Beyer will begin action for the Golden Eagles on Wednesday evening before the bigger contingent competes on Thursday.
Daniel Pederson and Hannah Gorin will run in the men's and women's steeplechases, respectively.
