Women's Tennis Signs Two for Fall 2020

The Golden Eagles begin the spring season in Indiana this weekend
MILWAUKEE β The Marquette women's tennis program is thrilled to welcome Emilija Kojcic and Andie Weise to the squad beginning in the fall of 2020.

Kojcic comes to MU from Pancevo, Serbia and is a top-three player in Serbia in under 14, 16, 18, and open ranking. She also held the No. 1 spot in 2017 for under 18 and open ranking. During her career at Uros Predic Gymnasium, Kojcic competed against top international players while also participating in ITF tournaments.

Weise travels to Marquette from just up the road in Mequon, Wisconsin. The four-star recruit ranked as high as No. 106 nationally, including the No. 1 player in the state for 12's, 14's, 16's, and 18's. She represented Wisconsin in the Midwest District Cup from 2013-2018 and was named the 2018 Journal Sentinel Tennis Player of the Year. During her two years competing at Homestead High School, Weise owned a 71-4 record in her matches.
