Altia Anderson Selected to BIG EAST Honor Roll

The senior earns her first career weekly award
NEW YORK-- Marquette University women's basketball senior Altia Anderson has been selected to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll, the league office announced on Monday.
This is the first career honor for Anderson as she put in a complete performance helping the Golden Eagles go 1-1 on a road weekend with a 20-point victory at Xavier on Sunday. She averaged a double-double with 11.5 points and 11.0 rebounds, which included her first career double-double in a game with 10 points and 14 boards against the Musketeers.Â
Marquette opens a four-game homestand beginning on Friday, Jan. 24 at 11:30 a.m. CT hosting Georgetown on the BIG EAST Digital Network.
