Programs Return to Full Squad Practices:
- The women's soccer and men's lacrosse teams resumed full-squad practices last week for the first time since March, giving the newcomers a chance to become incorporated into the team.
- "Before we weren't able to get to know the underclassmen at all," redshirt junior midfielder Rachel Johnson said. "Everything in general this last semester has been not normal, so we're just trying to vibe with the new roles."
The Golden Eagles recently resumed full-squad practices at Valley Fields for the first time since March. #WeAreMarquette

- "It's been a lot of fun so far," freshman midfielder Pierce Washburn said. "The upperclassmen have done a great job of reaching out to us and being great leaders in the weight room and on the field."
The last couple weeks have included a return to full squad training for the Golden Eagles.

Men's Soccer Plays AnotherĀ Intrasquad Scrimmage:
- MU men's soccer hosted another intrasquad scrimmage Wednesday, with the white team picking up a 4-0 win over the navy squad.Ā
- Junior forward Cristian Gennaro contributed two goals, while freshmen Alan Kim and Noah Madrigal each found the net once.

Women's Volleyball Hosts Intrasquad Scrimmage:
- Marquette volleyball is also getting back into practices, with the full team getting back on the court to prepare for the spring.
- "It's been much more about getting everyone physically prepared to compete," head coach Ryan Theis said. "The new players are getting more acclimated, so we're able to compete a little bit more."

- The team also had an intrasquad scrimmage last week, with sophomore outside hitter Hannah Vanden Berg being named the MVP.
Men's And Women's Basketball Pause Activities for 14 Days:
- Both the Marquette men's and women's basketball programs have halted team activities for the next two weeks after 2-of-45 COVID-19 tests returned positive.
- Student-athletes and Tier 1 staff members will go into quarantine and may return to practice beginning Nov. 4.

- WLAX redshirt junior Sophia Leva was named the Baird Student-Athlete of the Month for October.
- The women's lacrosse goaltender earned the distinction by reaching out to quarantined peers and has been creative with ideas to keep student-athletes connected.

WLAX Head Coach Meredith Black Discusses Freshman Impact:
- Marquette WLAX head coach Meredith Black recently touched on the effect of the freshman class in fall practice so far.
- "Our freshmen are awesome," Black said. "They came in with a no-holds-barred mentality. They go all out, they're not afraid to speak up. They don't act like freshmen."

- Recently, multiple teams have been posting flashbacks of big moments in program history.
- Men's lacrosse looked back on the win over Air Force in 2017, highlighting a pass from Grant Preisler ('17) that created a goal for Andy DeMichiei ('17).
