Since March, Marquette Athletics has been dealing with one of the greatest financial hardships that it has ever seen. As our student-athletes have handled season cancellations and postponements, we remain steadfast in creating an environment that allows the group to compete at the highest level while becoming leaders in the Marquette and greater Milwaukee community, now and in the future.
To help offset a portion of the projected revenue loss, Marquette Athletics is excited to announce the launch our new annual fundraising initiative, Blue & Gold United as an ongoing effort to support student-athlete scholarship and programming.
"We are proud of the strong financial foundation we have built over decades" said Bill Scholl, Director of Athletics. "Our reality is that it's never been more important to unite. More than 350 student-athletes within 16 programs are on campus, striving for excellence because of our generous donors. Let's lift them up, secure their future and show them how the spirit of Marquette transforms lives."
