Anderson has served as MU's top defensive midfielder the last two seasons
1.What is your proudest moment as a Marquette lacrosse player?
Luke Anderson: Winning the BIG EAST Championship in 2017.
Â
2. What is your most memorable experience with the team?
Anderson: My favorite memory was traveling with the team to San Francisco to scrimmage and enjoy the city in the fall of my sophomore year.  Â
3. What's the best advice one of your coaches at MU has given you?
Anderson: Coach Richard always encouraged me that you can be a different person on the field as you are off of it.
Â
4. What's the best advice a teammate has given you?
Anderson: When I was a freshman, the seniors always emphasized that it is important to treat everyone on the team the same, regardless of what class they were in.
5. What's the best advice you could offer future Marquette lacrosse players?
Anderson: Wear the jersey with pride, because Marquette is a special place.
Â
6. What has motivated you?Â
Anderson: The support of my family and the support of many excellent teammates.
          Â
7. Most memorable game?
Anderson: Our come-from-behind victory against Providence at home in 2018, when we scored four goals in the final two minutes.
8. Do you feel a rivalry developing with any opponents you have played?
Anderson: Aside from Denver, Providence is a team when we play them it feels different. No matter the team, every game is a challenge so there is always opportunity for rivalry to bud.
9. How do you think you've changed as a player or person over your career at Marquette?
Anderson: As a player, I've developed the confidence to know that I can do whatever the team needs me to win. Off the field, I have learned a similar confidence to be myself and be someone that others can trust and look to.
10. What have you learned that you will take with you as you move on from MU?
Anderson: The biggest thing I've learned is that at the end of the day, the result is far less important than the process it took to get there and the people you did it with.
11. What are your post-graduation plans?
Anderson: I will be working as a supply chain analyst in the Minneapolis- St. Paul area.
