- Multiple former Marquette basketball players are taking part in the NBA playoffs in the Orlando bubble.
- The Miami Heat advanced to the second round thanks in large part to the efforts of Jimmy Butler ('11) and Jae Crowder ('12).

- Crowder totaled 10 points and five rebounds in the series' fourth game, which gave the Heat a sweep of the Indiana Pacers.
- Wes Matthews ('09) and the Milwaukee Bucks boycotted Game 5 of their first round matchup against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday. The boycott was in response to the shooting of Jacob Blake in Waukesha, WI, last week, and prompted the postponement of the remainder of the day's games.

#MUWBB in the WNBA:
- Natisha Hiedeman ('19) has seen double digit minutes for the Connecticut Sun in each of the last four matchups, putting up eight points in her team's loss to the Las Vegas Aces last week.
- The Sun and the rest of the WNBA additionally boycotted their game last week on the same night as the Bucks protest.

DJ Carton (MBB) Talks About His Playing Style and Why He Chose Marquette:
- Men's basketball sophomore DJ Carton checked in as one of the final spotlights of the #MUBB at Home series.
- "I was able to create a good bond and relationship with Coach Wojo," Carton said. "My overall relationship with the coaching staff is great. I've got a lot of trust in them and they have a lot of trust in me, and I think that's the biggest part of this process."
