Posarelli Makes TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week

The redshirt senior has helped keep three straight clean sheets for MU
MILWAUKEE – Marquette University redshirt senior defender Oliver Posarelli was named to the TopDrawerSoccer Men's Team for the Week, it was announced on Tuesday morning.
Posarelli has played a key role on defense in three 1-0 overtime wins to start the spring campaign for the Golden Eagles. Posarelli anchored the team's back line in last week's win, a defeat of a quality Saint Louis team. He completed 90% of 105 pass attempts to go with that, playing every minute of the Saturday win. He's played all 288 minutes in three games this season.
This is Posarelli's first TDS Team of the Week honor and second weekly honor of his career. He was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Oct. 15, 2018.
The Golden Eagles will kick off BIG EAST play on Saturday, Feb. 20 against Creighton at 4 p.m. Central time. GoMarquette.com will stream the game from the Valley Fields bubble.
