Chandler Hallwood Named BIG EAST Keeper of the Week

It's his second keeper of the week honor this season
NEW YORK – For the second time this season, Marquette University men's soccer redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Chandler Hallwood was named the BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.
Junior midfielder Zyan Andrade was also named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll, his second weekly honor of the season.

A Halifax, England native, Hallwood (5-1-1) earned two wins between the pipes last week for the Golden Eagles. He tied a career-high with seven saves in a 2-1 win over Xavier on Wednesday. He also had three saves in a 2-1 overtime win over Creighton on Saturday. For the week, Hallwood marked a 0.98 goals against average and 5.00 saves per game with a .833 save percentage. The Golden Eagles now lead the Midwest Division with a 3-1-1 record (.700).
Andrade played a key part in MU's 2-1 overtime win at Creighton on Saturday. The Rio de Janeiro, Brazil native assisted on Beto Soto's goal in the first half with a marvelous through ball leading to a marker. He then scored the game-winning goal, his second of the season, four minutes into overtime to send the Golden Eagles into an emphatic celebration as they moved into first place.
The No. 25 Golden Eagles (6-1-1, 3-1-1 BIG EAST) will be back in action on Wednesday, March 24Â against DePaul at Valley Fields. First touch is set for 6 p.m. Central time.
