MSOC to Play No. 9/10 Seton Hall in BIG EAST Tournament

The Golden Eagles are the No. 1 seed in the Midwest Division
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University men's soccer team will take part in the BIG EAST tournament for the third straight season, earning the No. 1 seed in the BIG EAST Midwest Division.
The No. 16/17 Golden Eagles (8-1-1. 5-1-1 BIG EAST) will take on the second seed in the eastern division, the No. 9/10Â Seton Hall Pirates (7-1-3, 5-1-2 BIG EAST) at 2:30 p.m. CT on Thursday, April 15 in the tournament semifinals.
Defending national champion and No. 2 Georgetown (7-0-2, 7-0-2 BIG EAST) will be the tournament host as the No. 1 overall seed. They'll play Creighton (6-5, 5-3Â BIG EAST) in the other semifinal game. The two winners will meet in the conference championship game on Saturday, April 17 at 2 p.m. CT and FS2 will provide television coverage.
All three games will be played at Georgetown's Shaw Field. Georgetown has hosted and won the last three BIG EAST men's soccer championship games.

Three of the four teams in the field are ranked nationally by the United Soccer Coaches. Georgetown is No. 2, Seton Hall No. 9 and Marquette is No. 17.
