BIG EAST Announces MSOC Schedule Changes

MU's game against Xavier has been canceled
NEW YORK - On Tuesday, the BIG EAST announced changes to the remainder of the league men's soccer schedule.
In the East Division, UConn's remaining two men's soccer contests this week have been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols within the Husky program. This league matches include Wednesday, April 7 at Providence and Saturday, April 10 against Villanova.Â
Additionally, in the Midwest Division, the men's soccer contest originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 7 between Xavier and DePaul in Chicago has been canceled due to COVID protocols within the Musketeer program. Also, the match scheduled between Xavier and Marquette for Saturday, April 10 at XU Soccer Stadium has been canceled due to COVID protocols within both programs.
None of these matches will be rescheduled.
The Golden Eagles will be back in action on Thursday, April 15 in the BIG EAST tournament semifinals. Game time and location are still to be determined.
