MU opens regular season August 26 vs. Green Bay
The Marquette University men's soccer team is ranked 19th in the country in the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 Poll, released earlier this week.

The Golden Eagles are coming off a 2020 campaign that saw the team advance to the NCAA Tournament's Round of 16, the program's fourth NCAA appearance. Marquette also claimed the BIG EAST Conference Midwest Division title.

Marquette returns 10 starters and 21 letterwinners from last year's squad and is set to open the regular season August 26 at Valley Fields against Green Bay at 6:05 p.m. CT. The BIG EAST features three programs in the top-25. Georgetown checks in at No. 5 and Seton Hall is No. 10.

"This season brings a lot of excitement and anticipation for obvious reasons," head coach Louis Bennett said. "We are looking forward to a full 10-game fixture in BIG EAST play with the addition of UConn and league play is going to be top notch. Our non-conference schedule is well balanced, with plenty of challenges. We can't wait to get started."
