Soto Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

The redshirt freshman recorded a goal and an assist in MU's win over Kansas City
NEW YORK — Marquette University men's soccer redshirt freshman forward Beto Soto was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the league office announced on Monday.
In MU's 2-1 victory over Kansas City, Soto was involved in both goals tallying both a goal and an assist. In the third minute of the match he had a shot deflected by the opposing goalkeeper which set up a Christian Marquez goal. The Houston, Texas native then scored a goal of his own in the 34th minute to help Marquette take the lead and eventually the win.
The Golden Eagles (3-0-0, 0-0-0 BIG EAST) will be back in action tonight at 7 p.m. against Tulsa (3-0-0, 0-0-0 AAC) at Hurricane Stadium in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
