MTEN use Toledo event as a warmup for ITA regionals

The Marquette University men's tennis team continued its fall campaign this weekend competing at the Everybody vs. Cancer Invitational, hosted by Toledo.

The Golden Eagles recorded multiple wins against Case Western and Duquesne at Shadow Valley Tennis Club in Maumee, Ohio.

The field competed in three rounds of singles and doubles competition during the three-day event.

Freshmen Zino Varouhas-Poole went undefeated in doubles action this weekend paired with Gui Da Matta and Will Tennison.

UP NEXT: Golden Eagles will head to Champaign, Illinois from Oct. 20 - Oct. 24 to compete in the ITA Midwest Regional Championship.
