Sunesson, Hallwood named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Pair of Golden Eagles honored after 5-1 win vs St. John's
NEW YORK — A pair of Marquette men's soccer players earned BIG EAST weekly honors following the team's 5-1 season finale win over St. John's on Wednesday night as senior attacker Lukas Sunesson and senior goalkeeper Chandler Hallwood were each named to the Weekly Honor Roll.Â
Sunesson scored the second goal of the match on a penalty kick in the 34th minute, his team-best seventh goal of the season. He also recorded game-highs of five shots and three shots on net. Hallwood played all 90 minutes on net, and came just short of a clean sheet, only allowing a 90th minute PK goal. He faced 15 shots and made four saves in the win.Â
