San Andres, Brady, Dragovic earn singles wins
The Marquette University men's tennis team (2-9) dropped a tough 4-3 decision at Michigan State (9-3) Saturday morning in non-conference action.
Marquette fell behind 1-0 after doubles, but saw its rally attempt in singles play fall short. Fran San Andres returned to the lineup from injury and got MU on the board with a straight-set win at No. 2 singles. Also claiming wins for the Golden Eagles were Ian Brady and Stefan Dragovic.
UP NEXT: Marquette returns to action on March 17 when the team travels to UNC Wilmington to compete in the Battle at the Beach. MU opens the three-match Spring trip against Bryant.
