Senior collects third conference honor this season
NEW YORK - Liza Karlen has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor roll after her third double-double of the season against Bucknell.
Karlen had a game-high 17 points, season-best 13 rebounds, two assists, and two blocks against the Bison on Thursday. It was the sixth time the senior has led the team in scoring.
The St. Paul, Minnesota native has averaged 21.3 points and 8.8 rebounds in the last four games.
Karlen has been named BIG EAST Player of the Week twice this season. This marks the sixth time Karlen has appeared on the conference's weekly honor roll.
