MILWAUKEE – Outside hitters Aubrey Hamilton and Jenna Reitsma each hit over .400 with 16 and 11 kills, respectively, as the Marquette University women's volleyball team swept Air Force on Saturday afternoon at the Al McGuire Center.
The Golden Eagles (3-6) hit a combined .327, their best mark of the year, for a 25-18, 25-11, 25-19 victory. Hamilton, who notched her 1,000th career kill on Wednesday at Fiserv Forum, had eight kills and five digs in the final frame and hit .412 in the match. Reitsma recorded her third double-double of the year with 11 kills and 10 digs on .455 hitting.
Air Force (8-3) hit just .165 and Aaryn Scires led the Falcons with eight kills.

NOTABLE:
- Air Force had a six-match win streak entering this weekend in Milwaukee.
- The win is MU's first home victory of the season.
- The Golden Eagles closed the second set on a 7-1 run for the 25-11 win. MU also trailed 7-2 early in the third before responding out of a timeout with the next five points to even the score.
- The Falcons entered the weekend ranked 12th in the NCAA with 2.96 blocks per set and were led by Mac Russ, who was 19th individually in the NCAA with 1.59 blocks per frame (55 total). USAFA had five blocks in the opening set and ended the match with the same number.
- Entering this weekend, Air Force opponents were hitting just .130 on the season, the 10th-lowest mark in the NCAA. MU hit a season-best .327 on Saturday.
- Marquette is now 3-0 all-time against Air Force and Saturday was the first meeting since 1997. All three MU wins have been sweeps.
