SOUTH ORANGE, New Jersey – The Marquette University women's volleyball team held off Seton Hall in five sets on Friday evening at Walsh Gymnasium for a 25-16, 17-25, 25-13, 20-25, 15-9 victory.
The Golden Eagles (13-6, 8-1 BIG EAST) received a match-high 15 kills from middle blocker Hattie Bray, who also added three blocks in MU's seventh-straight win. Outside hitters Aubrey Hamilton and Jenna Reitsma posted 12 and 10 kills, respectively, and Hamilton notched a career-high 18 digs.
Marquette hit above .300 in each of the three set victories, but .205 in the fourth and -.041 in the second set with 11 hitting errors against nine kills. MU held SHU to a hitting mark of .139 for the match, and hit a combined .205 itself.
Senna Roberts-Navarro led the Pirates (8-12, 2-7 BIG EAST) with 13 kills and Perri Lucas had 11.

- The Golden Eagles posted nine service aces, offset by 13 errors.
- Senior Jadyn Garrison tied a career high with three aces, a match high.
- SHU Middle blocker Asli Subasili led the BIG EAST in blocks per set last week (1.86) and posted a match-high five blocks on Friday.
- Marquette leads the all-time series with the Pirates, 25-5, and all 30 meetings have come since MU joined the BIG EAST for the 2005 season.
- The Golden Eagles have won each of the last 16 meetings.
