WBB Falls to No. 1 Seed UConn in BIG EAST Semifinals

UNCASVILLE, Conn. - The Marquette University women's basketball team fell 58-29 to No. 1 seed UConn in the BIG EAST Tournament Semifinals on Sunday at Mohegan Sun Arena.
The Golden Eagles (23-8, 11-7 BIG EAST) were led by Liza Karlen, who had 12 points, nine rebounds and three assists. Mackenzie Hare had nine points and was a perfect 3-of-3 from three.
UConn (28-5, 18-0 BIG EAST) was led by Paige Bueckers, who had 27 points and 12 rebounds.
