Schaadt clinches the victory for Golden Eagles
ORLANDO, Fla. - The Marquette University men's tennis team earned a 4-1 victory over Marist Tuesday evening at SBT.
Marquette opened the match by claiming the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and 2 spots.
Jan Jauch took a straight-set victory at the No. 3 position (6-0, 6-4).
Ivan Vazquez recorded a victory at the No. 6 spot in a straight-set form (6-1, 6-1).
Senior Jasper Schaadt clinched the victory for the Golden Eagles in straight-set fashion at No. 4 (6-4, 7-6) to give the Blue and Gold a 4-1 advantage.
UP NEXT: The Golden Eagles will continue play at SBT vs Hampton University at 1:30 pm CT.
