MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University women's volleyball program along with Be the Difference NIL (BTD NIL), Marquette's premier Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) collective, has announced a significant financial investment through private donations and strategic partnerships with Milotso and Milwaukee Sting Volleyball Club, two well-known brands committed to empowering young people in the Milwaukee community and beyond.
The expansion of support for volleyball aligns with BTD NIL's mission of being men and women for others as it works with non-profit organizations and supporting community-minded events to positively impact the community while enabling personal growth for the athletes with whom it works.
"We are incredibly excited to announce this new wave of support for volleyball," said Travis Diener, Executive Director of BTD NIL. "Thanks to the generous donations and strategic partnerships with Milotso and Sting, we can significantly enhance the NIL resources available to volleyball athletes."
Milotso and Sting, both leaders in their respective industries, have a long-standing commitment to supporting sports and athletes. Their collaboration with Be the Difference NIL exemplifies a shared vision of fostering growth, opportunity, and excellence within the athletic community.
"At Milotso, we believe in the power of sports to transform lives," said Tom Foti, Co-founder and President of Milotso. "Partnering with BTD NIL allows us to contribute meaningfully to women's volleyball and support athletes in building their team building, leadership and mentorship skills."
Ted Schulte, President of Sting, echoed those sentiments. "Our partnership with BTD NIL is a testament to our dedication to athlete development and empowerment," said Schulte. "We are proud to support this initiative and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on the volleyball community."
MU head coach Ryan Theis was excited about BTD NIL's new partnerships to support volleyball. "As a coach, I believe in empowering our athletes both on and off the court," Theis said. "The new opportunities provided by partnerships with Be the Difference will allow our players to make an impact in their community and prepare for life beyond sports. It's a game-changer that aligns with our mission to develop well-rounded individuals who excel in every aspect of their lives."
BTD NIL, Milotso, and Sting are united in their commitment to creating lasting change in the world of sports. This financial support marks a significant step forward in ensuring that volleyball athletes have the resources they need to succeed both on and off the court.
