Golden Eagles to compete at Burke Golf Course on campus of Notre Dame
MILWAUKEE – Marquette University cross country travels to Notre Dame for the National Catholic Invite on Friday.
The Golden Eagles will compete alongside Bellarmine, Canisius, DePaul, Detroit Mercy, Loyola Chicago, Niagara, Notre Dame, St. Francis and Thomas More at the Burke Golf Course.
The women's 5,000m race begins at 2:30 p.m. CT. The men's 8,000m race starts at 3:15 p.m. CT. Live results will be through Endurance Race Timing.
MU began the 2024 season at the Vic Godfrey Open Sept. 6 in Kenosha. Emma Coon paced the women's side with a career-best 14.42.2 4k to finish third overall. The men were led by freshman Edgar Valles who finished sixth with a time of 19:07.2.
