
WBB Earns Road Victory Over Xavier Wednesday Night, 67-38

Golden Eagles travel to Villanova Sunday at 1 p.m. CT
CINCINNATI, Ohio – Marquette University women's basketball continued BIG EAST play on Wednesday night with a 67-38 win at Xavier at Cintas Center.
The Golden Eagles (14-6, 6-3 BIG EAST) were led by Lee Volker, who had 20 points on a career-high four 3-pointers with seven boards. Skylar Forbes added 17 points, three assists and two rebounds. Halle Vice had 13 points, six rebounds and a career-high four steals.
The Golden Eagles led wire-to-wire and led by as many as 31 in the fourth quarter, their largest lead over a BIG EAST opponent this season.
Xavier (6-15, 1-9 BIG EAST) was led by Loren Christie, who had 10 points.
