Golden Eagles open dual play on the road at UND
The Marquette University women's tennis team has announced its dual schedule for the spring of 2026. Â
The Golden Eagles will begin the dual season on the road at the University of North Dakota where they'll face the Fighting Hawks on Friday, Jan. 16 and Montana State on Saturday, Jan. 17.
Marquette returns four Golden Eagles from last year's squad and welcomes two freshmen Elise Barnstedt and Maria Poon.
The Golden Eagles host their first home match in the Sprovieri Tennis Complex on Friday, Jan. 30 against BIG EAST opponent Creighton.
In March the squad will participate in the USTA Spring Break Tennis event in Orlando, Florida where they will take on Hampton, Quinnipiac, and Fairfield.
The 2025 BIG EAST Tournament is scheduled to place at Cayce Tennis & Fitness Center in Cayce, South Carolina April 17-19.
