2018 Season (Sr.): Team captain ... Started all 14 matches for the Golden Eagles as a senior, recording 123 saves, a 9.67 goals against average and a record of 6-8 ... Recorded five saves in the 11-10 win in the season opener over Jacksonville (Feb. 17) ... Stopped 15 shots on goal in the overtime win against No. 16 Georgetown (March 24), and picked up two ground balls ... Tallied nine saves and two ground balls against No. 6 Villanova (March 31) ... Recorded a season high of 16 saves and grabbed three ground balls during the OT win against St. John's (April 7) ... Finished the matchup with No. 14/15 Notre Dame with eight saves (April 11) ... Recorded 15 saves at No. 14 Richmond and secured three ground balls (Feb. 25) ... Set a program record with 18 saves against No. 20 Ohio State (March 3) ... Racked up 13 saves versus Detroit (March 5) ... Recorded eight saves against Robert Morris (March 11) ... Stopped 14 shots in the BIG EAST opener at Georgetown (March 25) ... Faced a ranked team in 7-of-9 games, including four top-five opponents ... Made his first career start against Villanova (April 2) ... Recorded 13 saves with a .812 save percentage and only allowed three goals in his first career win over then-No. 5/6 Villanova (April 2) ... Named BIG EAST Conference Defensive Player of the Week on April 4 for his performance against Villanova ... Also earned USILA and NCAA National Defensive Player of the Week honors for his play against the Wildcats ... Made nine saves in a 8-7 overtime loss at No. 1 Notre Dame (April 13) ... Secured 10 saves against No. 16 Villanova to help MU to a 14-9 win over the Wildcats in the BIG EAST Tournament semifinals ... 2015 Season (Fr.): Played in four games as a true freshman ... Made a total of eight saves in 45:27 of action with a .571 save percentage and a goals-against average of 7.92 ... Saw his first action of the year versus Mercer and made four saves (March 8).
Prior to Marquette: Four-year letter winner at Libertyville high school ... Captained the Wildcats his junior and senior seasons ... Also named team and defensive MVP his senior year ... Blazer averaged a .670 save percentage, while earning first-team all-conference and first-team all-state ... Blazer was also named a 2013-2014 All-American, as well as an Illinois State All Star in 2014 ... Played AAU lacrosse with True Lacrosse where he was also named defensive MVP ... Played football in high school.
