2005: Klemm played in 14 of 17 matches in his freshman season, earning two starts. He got the nod against Cincinnati (Sept. 23) and Pittsburgh (Oct. 8). He launched two of his five shots on the season in the Pittsburgh contest.
Prior to Marquette: Klemm started every varsity game over his four-year career and earned second-team all-state honors as a senior. The midfielder was among the top 10 leading scorers at Clarkston and scored seven goals and added 17 assists his senior year. Klemm was a member of the ODP Regional team for three years and was a member of the Vardar Soccer Club. As a member of Vardar, Klemm[apos]s teams won the Michigan State Cup three times and were runners-up twice.
Personal: Michael Klemm was born on July 12, 1987, in Clakston, Mich., to Paul and Christine Klemm. He has two older brothers, Eric and Pete. He is a civil engineering major.
