2007: Benage moved from reserve to starter in the first 11 games of the season with the Golden Eagles amassing a record of 10-1in those games. She recorded her first career goal in a 4-0 win over Rhode Island (Sept. 16) in the Colorado College Invitational, and was named to the All-Tournament team for her effort. In 2-0 win over Indiana State (Sept. 2) Benage found Anna Sawicki to tally her lone assist on the year. She also shot five times in the win over Indiana State. Benage fired 15 shots in 2007.
2006:A speedy forward, Benage played in 20 games, making one start. Benage launched six shots, one on goal. She came off the bench against Wis.-Green Bay late in the game and found the foot of Anna Sawicki to tally her first assist of the season.
2005:Benage played in 21 matches and scored two points on the year. She recorded an assist on Alison Loughrin[apos]s goal against Wis.-Green Bay (Sept. 4) and Michelle Pitzl[apos]s strike against USF (Sept. 16).
2004: Did not play in her first season, earning a redshirt due to an ACL injury.
Prior to Marquette: Benage was a first team All-State selection as a junior and senior. She was the 2004 Eastern Kansas Defensive Player of the Year and the 2003 Eastern Kansas Offensive Player of the Year. Benage was a scholar Athlete all four years and owns school record for goals scored in a season and total points in a season. She was also a member of the club team that was state champions in 2002, 2003 and 2004. She was coached by Tom Holland.
Personal: The daughter of Joe and Marilee Benage, she has an older sister Brooke and a younger sister Allison. Benage is a finance and economics major.
