Sophomore (2013-14)- Saw action at the No. 3, 4, 5 and 6 singlesposition and all three doubles position this season... Compiled an overall 15-19 record to finish the season... Racked up a singles and doubles victory at the BIG EAST Conference tournament, earning a 6-4, 7-6 win at the No. 6 spot againstXavier and 8-5 win at the No. 2 doubles with Aleeza Kanner against Butler.

Freshman (2012-13) - Named to the 2012-13 BIG EAST All-Academic Team ...As a freshmen, Hernandez-Soler put together an overall record of 13-4, while going 10-4 in dual match play... Saw action at the No. 4, 5 and 6 singles slots, boasting records of 2-0, 1-2, and 7-2 respectively.

Prior to Marquette: Very much like her sister, Laia Hernandez-Soler participated in numerous tennis events as part of the Champion of Catlaunya, competing in both the singles and doubles categories. Racked up WTA points while competing in several national tournaments and events with Real Club de Tennis Barcelona from 2007-2012.

Like her twin sister, L. Hernandez-Soler is also an accomplished skier and gymnast. Participated in gymnastics from 2003-2007, and was amongst the top-10 skiers in Spain for the under-16 category.

Born Sept. 9, 1994... Daughter of Albert and Imma... has an identical twin-sister, Aina... Majoring in Finance and Economics.
